Flexible resonant tank for a combined converter to achieve an HPS and LED compatible driver

摘要: High pressure sodium (HPS) lamp has been widely used in street lighting applications because of its maturity, reliability, high lighting efficiency, long life-time, and low cost. Light emitting diode (LED) is expected as the next generation lighting source due to its continuously improving luminous efficacy, better color characteristic, and super long life-time. The two lighting sources may coexist in street lighting applications for a long time. A novel HPS and LED compatible driver is proposed which is rather suitable and flexible for driving HPS and LED in street lighting applications. The proposed driver combines the LLC and LCC resonant circuits into a flexible resonant tank. The flexible resonant tank may change to LLC or isolated LCC circuit according to the lighting source. It inherits the traditional HPS and LED drivers’ zero voltage switching (ZVS) characteristics and dimmable function. The design of the proposed flexible resonant tank considers the requirements of both HPS and LED. The experiments of driving HPS and LED on a prototype driver show that the driver can drive the two lighting sources flexibly with high efficiency.

Multi-Component Resource Recycling from Waste Light-Emitting Diode Under Hydrothermal Condition: Plastic

摘要: Light emitting diodes (LEDs) have accounted for most of the lighting market as the technology matures and costs continue to reduce. As a new type of e-waste, LED is a double-edged sword, as it contains not only precious and rare metals but also organic packaging materials. In previous studies, LED recycling focused on recovering precious and strategic metals while ignoring harmful substances such as organic packaging materials. Unlike crushing and other traditional methods, hydrothermal treatment can provide an environment-friendly process for decomposing packaging materials. This work developed a closed reaction vessel, where the degradation rate of plastic polyphthalamide (PPA) was close to 100%, with nano-TiO2 encapsulated in plastic PPA being efficiently recovered, while metals contained in LED were also recycled efficiently. Besides, the role of water in plastic PPA degradation that has been overlooked in current studies was explored and speculated in detail in this work. Environmental impact assessment revealed that the proposed recycling route for waste LED could significantly reduce the overall environmental impact compared to the currently published processes. Especially the developed method could reduce more than half the impact of global warming. Furthermore, this research provides a theoretical basis and a promising method for recycling other plastic-packaged e-waste devices, such as integrated circuits.

我国新型显示关键材料发展战略研究

摘要:

新型显示作为电子信息领域为数不多的千亿美元级产业,是信息化、智能化时代我国战略性新兴产业重点发展方向之一。本文针对新型显示关键材料与工艺在新型显示技术和产业发展进程中的战略性、支撑性和保障性作用开展论述,梳理了具有代表性的新型显示关键材料的研究现状与发展趋势,凝练了我国相关领域在材料技术和应用技术方面存在的问题,提出了我国新型显示关键材料发展目标和重点方向。研究建议:抓牢新一轮显示技术升级与产业转型的重大机遇,从国家经济发展全局的高度、全产业链生态的角度出发,以整机应用为牵引,以核心材料为突破口,打造新型显示创新平台,构建高效的技术创新体系;聚合优势力量,突破产业化发展中的核心共性关键材料与工艺问题,完善产业协同创新生态。从技术、市场、资金、政策等多个角度完成了新型显示创新平台的可行性分析,以期支持我国新型显示产业“从跟随到引领”的跨越式发展。

Fluorene-based narrow-band-gap copolymers for red light-emitting diodes and bulk heterojunction photovoltaic

摘要: A series of narrow band-gap conjugated copolymers (PFO-DDQ) derived from 9,9-dioctylfluorene (DOF) and 2,3-dimethyl-5,8-dithien-2-yl-quinoxalines (DDQ) is prepared by the palladium-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reaction with the molar feed ratio of DDQ at around 1%, 5%, 15%, 30% and 50%, respectively. The obtained polymers are readily soluble in common organic solvents. The solutions and the thin solid films of the copolymers absorb light from 300–590 nm with two absorbance peaks at around 380 and 490 nm. The intensity of 490 nm peak increases with the increasing DDQ content in the polymers. Efficient energy transfer due to exciton trapping on narrow-band-gap DDQ sites has been observed. The PL emission consists exclusively of DDQ unit emission at around 591–643 nm depending on the DDQ content in solid film. The EL emission peaks are red-shifted from 580 nm for PFO-DDQ1 to 635 nm for PFO-DDQ50. The highest external quantum efficiency achieved with the device configuration ITO/PEDOT/PVK/PFO-DDQ15/Ba/Al is 1.33% with a luminous efficiency 1.54 cd/A. Bulk heterojunction photovoltaic cells fabricated from composite films of PFO-DDQ30 copolymer and [6,6]-phenyl C butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as electron donor and electron acceptor, respectively in device configuration: ITO/PEDOT:PSS/PFO-DDQ30:PCBM/PFPNBr/Al shows power conversion efficiencies of 1.18% with open-circuit voltage () of 0.90 V and short-circuit current density () of 2.66 mA/cm under an AM1.5 solar simulator (100 mW/cm). The photocurrent response wavelengths of the PVCs based on PFO-DDQ30/PCBM blends covers 300–700 nm. This indicates that these kinds of low band-gap polymers are promising candidates for polymeric solar cells and red light-emitting diodes.

Solar photovoltaic fed dual input LED lighting system with constant illumination control

摘要: A dual input LED lighting scheme with constant illumination is proposed in this paper. The scheme employs a photovoltaic array as the first input and a battery as the second one. A microcontroller is programmed to operate a changeover switch as well as a DC-DC converter for uninterrupted and constant illumination in work place. The scheme is suitable for conference halls, laboratories, clean rooms, marriage halls, theaters, etc. The complete modeling, design and experimentation of the proposed scheme are explained and the economic viability of the scheme is justified.

摘要: 本文采用晶圆级微纳加工技术,基于硅衬底氮化镓晶圆,提出并制备了同质集成发射极、集电极和基极的可见光互联芯片。利用InGaN/GaN量子阱二极管器件发光探测共存的特性,芯片的发射极和集电极采用相同的量子阱结构,并通过相同的制备工艺实现。发射极和集电极之间通过悬空的光波导连接,实现器件之间的光互联。同质集成可见光互联芯片集成两个共基极的光致晶体管,实现芯片内可见光的发射、传输和探测功能。该可见光互联芯片可以广泛应用于光致类脑神经形态芯片、芯片内可见光通信、智能显示、微纳成像及光传感等领域。

Dymola-based multi-parameters integrated optimization for high speed transfer system of LED chip sorter

To enhance the performance of high speed transfer system of LED chip sorting equipment, its control parameters need to be well matching with the mechanical system. In practical issues, it is difficult and time-consuming work to get these parameters matched because their selection is strongly depended on individuals. In current work, an integrated optimization method was carried out to solve this problem, in which the multiple control parameters optimization, modeling and simulation were included, i.e., a multi-domain model of transfer system performed on Dymola platform. Based on this model, the searching area of the key control parameters was narrowed by performing integrated optimization. After that a group of parameters were selected from this narrowed area to perform the equipment’s controls. The result showed this method possesses a simple and reliable nature. The optimal solutions also indicated that the optimized control parameters can well satisfy the requirements of transfer system. On the other hand, it greatly reduced the engineering adjustment time by using this method.

for an optimal combination of photothermal and chemodynamic therapy functions of CuS cores with red emitting

摘要: This study introduces multifunctional silica nanoparticles that exhibit both high photothermal and chemodynamic therapeutic activities, in addition to luminescence. The activity of the silica nanoparticles is derived from their plasmonic properties, which are a result of infusing the silica nanoparticles with multiple Cu2–xS cores. This infusion process is facilitated by a recoating of the silica nanoparticles with a cationic surfactant. The key factors that enable the internal incorporation of the Cu2–xS cores and the external deposition of red-emitting carbon dots are identified. The Cu2–xS cores within the silica nanoparticles exhibit both self-boosting generation of reactive oxygen species and high photothermal conversion efficacy, which are essential for photothermal and chemodynamic activities. The silica nanoparticles’ small size (no more than 70 nm) and high colloidal stability are prerequisites for their cell internalization. The internalization of the red-emitting silica nanoparticles within cells is visualized using fluorescence microscopy techniques. The chemodynamic activity of the silica nanoparticles is associated with their dark cytotoxicity, and the mechanisms of cell death are evaluated using an apoptotic assay. The photothermal activity of the silica nanoparticles is demonstrated by significant cell death under near-infrared (1064 nm) irradiation.

摘要: This paper researches the overall construction target of government-led urban complex construction projects based on the perspective of sustainable urban development.In order to achieve benefit maximization, the meta-synthesis management for the government-led urban complex construction project is studied.In order to combine theory and practice, several typical government-led urban complex construction project cases, such as Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center and Guangzhou International Financial City etc. areexamined. These examples point to thefeasibility of government-led meta-synthesis management and demonstrate the benefits that can be achieved through this model.

Understanding high-emitting households in the UK through a cluster analysis

摘要: Anthropogenic climate change is a global problem that affects every country and each individual. It is largely caused by human beings emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. In general, a small percentage of the population is responsible for a large amount of emissions. This paper focuses on high emitters and their CO emissions from energy use in UK homes. It applies a cluster approach, aiming to identify whether the high emitters comprise clusters where households in each cluster share similar characteristics but are different from the others. The data are mainly based on the Living Cost and Food survey in the UK. The results show that after equivalising both household emissions and income, the high emitters can be clustered into six groups which share similar characteristics within each group, but are different from the others in terms of income, age, household composition, category and size of the dwelling, and tenure type. The clustering results indicate that various combinations of socioeconomic factors, such as low-income single female living in an at least six-room property, or high-income retired couple owning a large detached house, could all lead to high CO emissions from energy use at home. Policymakers should target each high-emitter cluster differently to reduce CO emissions from energy consumption at home more effectively.
